Screened-in Sleeping Porch

Guest Comments

Milwaukee, WI - This was a wonderful cabin! It had all the amenities we needed and loads of charm. It was relaxing to sit on the screened in porch to read and listen to the river. Our boys, age 8 and 9, loved the adventure of sleeping in their own cabin. At night, it was very relaxing to sit by the fire. Would definitely recommend this rental. Pinebrook and the owners were great.
Oklahoma City, OK - We were surprised by the beauty and privacy of this property. We expected secluded with access to a creek - but not this slice of heaven. We were impressed with the history of this structure, while enjoying all of its modern conveniences. It was a great location for enjoying Rocky Mountain National Park. What a gorgeous gift!
Mantua, OH - Paulson's Jewel was a perfect "Goldilocks" cabin: Just right. It needed to be rustic, but comfortable; remote, but not too hard to get to; quaint but not kitschy; affordable, but not cheap . This cabin was the best of both worlds. With its authentic 1920's construction and rich history, it was absolutely the real deal yet it was updated with some modern creature comforts like wifi and satellite TV. The furnishings were were not that of a four-star hotel, nor should they have been. It was all comfortable enough to suit our needs. The location was amidst one of the most beautiful natural environments I've ever been in, yet it was a reasonable (and vista-filled) drive to get there (Tip: Don't make your first trip there at night though). The setting was perfectly appointed with truly unique and genuine accessories down to every detail -the stove, the breadbox, the toaster cozy and cozy quilts; even an original-issue Password board game in the closet! Perfect. This wasn't the cheapest option we found, but the price was exactly right for all that we got. On top of all that, the management was lovely and we found all our interactions to be perfectly smooth. To sum it all up as Goldilocks might say ... Paulson's Jewel was "just right." (and we had no bears to contend with!)
